Fondation

 

Crack identified around the foundation of the property

 

Apparent crack so a recommendation is suggested in order to assess the severity of the crack.

 

Comment: In some situations a crack can cause very significant costs during the repair. Which may influence the purchase or sale of a home?

 

 

 


 

 

Mold

 

In some Home Inspections we can see traces of mold on the floor and on the lower part of the walls with our temperature detection infrared device.

 

Comment: Mold is the common name given to any fungus that forms on the food or on damp building materials. It often looks like a stain and can be in various colors. Mold can be invisible in some cases, but may manifest by a musty smell. Its growth can contribute to poor indoor air quality and cause serious lung diseases.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Water infiltration observed in the attic

 

During the inspection of the attic it is very common to see traces of water infiltration and rot in the roof structure. 

 

Comments: there is gravity in our atmosphere so if water seeps, it it will drop down and it may damage the whole the building. Water is the worst enemy of the houses.
